This has been a watershed summit for ITU’s Telecommunication Development Bureau, marking
the launch of a new Global Youth Strategy that will ensure that the essential voice of young
people is consistently included in our key debates and deliberations.

For us, this ceremony may mark the end of FerMUN 2020, but it also marks the beginning of

something bigger, something that all of you here have been instrumental in forging over the
past three days. Something that I hope you will continue to be a part of.

Thank you for your energy, your enthusiasm and your insight, and congratulations on a truly
outstanding FerMUN Futurecasters 2020!
