| He joined NISSAN MOTOR CO., LTD at Nissan Research Center in 1972 after getting master degree of Instrumentation Engineering from KEIO University. He had participated several research projects for on-board computer controlled system of Engine, Automatic Transmission and Vehicle Dynamics. He spent four years in Corporate Planning Office in Nissan Head Quarters to build business plan. He had been General Manager of Vehicle Research Laboratory since 1996. He was named to current position in 2000.
