 Tutorial for Rapporteurs and Editors

Introduction
As part of TSB’s on-going efforts to increase the efficiency of the work of study groups while harmonizing their practices, a two-day tutorial session for Rapporteurs and Editors has been scheduled to take place in ITU Headquarters in Geneva on 6/7 September 2012.

This tutorial will be ITU-T specific, focusing on issues that concern rapporteurs and editors:
  • leadership within working groups;
  • role, authority and responsibility of Rapporteurs and Editors;
  • ITU basic texts as they relate to rapporteurs and editors;
  • approval procedures for Recommendations, annexes, handbooks, etc.
The tutorial will take place in English and, except for some practical exercises, will be available for remote participation using Adobe Connect. Details on how to connect will be available nearer the time.
Audience
All rapporteurs and editors of ITU-T study groups.
