A meeting with invited donors were
held in Geneva to discuss possibilities of supporting the Partnership by
financing technical assistance activities for developing countries to
produce information society statistics.

The Statistical Commission considers special issues of
concern in international statistical development, methodological issues,
coordination and integration of international statistical programmes,
support of technical cooperation activities in statistics and
organizational matters. Information and communication technologies
