ICT GIRLS DAY 2016: Compound of visual communication and ITC

On the occasion of the International Day of Girls in ICT, Ministry for Information Society and Telecommunications, organized a lecture on graphic design intended for high school students from Podgorica at the Faculty of Visual Arts - Mediterranean University.

To female students of secondary schools in Podgorica professors, from the Faculty of Visual Arts, Irina Tomić, and Violeta Bulajić spoke about the combinations of visual communications, art and ICT, as well as the benefits of studies and careers in the field of visual arts and graphic design.

Ministry for Information Society and Telecommunications, traditionally celebrates  International Day of Girls in ICT on April 28, together with the member countries of the International Telecommunication Union.

International day of girls in ICT is celebrated with the aim of raising awareness among girls about the importance of information and communication technologies, in order to encourage girls to think about a career in the sector of information and communication technologies.
