• The first meeting of the Group of Friends of the Chair (GFC) of the PrepCom of the Tunis Phase of WSIS was held in Geneva on Friday 22 October. More information are available on the WSIS GFC web page.

• WSIS Stocktaking: the Secretary-General of ITU sent a letter and a questionnaire to all WSIS stakeholders, inviting them to inform the WSIS Executive Secretariat about their implementation activities and projects relating to the Summit Plan of Action.
