Certificates awarded for government and private sector support to World Summit on the Information Society Forum
Geneva, 1 February 2013 – ITU Secretary-General Hamadoun I. Touré today presented Certificates of Recognition to the Administrations of Kuwait, Oman, Poland, Tanzania, Mexico and United Arab Emirates as well as to ITU Sector Members Intel and Hewlett-Packard for their financial contributions to the WSIS Fund in Trust. Additionally, Egypt was recognized for its commitment towards strengthening the implementation of WSIS-related activities, in particular the WSIS+10 review in 2014.
