ITU Telecom is the arm of the ITU responsible for organizing the annual worldwide series of ITU Telecom events. These events provide a major platform for influential representatives from across the ICT sector to come together, network, share knowledge and shape the future direction of the industry. Our primary aim in providing this platform is to facilitate the creation of change through the application of ICT solutions to real-world challenges.
As a part of ITU, ITU Telecom is able to convene an unparalleled mix of leaders from public, private and not-for-profit sectors, including government ministers, CEOs and key players from big business, technology companies, manufacturers, operators, content and applications providers, plus regulators, policy advisers, consultants, digital thought leaders and major media players to its events.
Our next event is ITU Telecom World 2012, to be held in Dubai from 14 – 18 October, 2012, hosted by the government of the United Arab Emirates and alongside GITEX Technology Week, the leading ICT event for the Middle East, Africa and the South Asian region.
