Led by Executive Manager,
Mr. Xin LIU, the ITU Telecom Secretariat consists of different teams who together deliver all aspects of ITU Telecom activities:
Executive Manager Office, who support and coordinate the activities of the Executive Manager in setting and implementing the strategic course of ITU Telecom events.
Sales and Client Relations Service, who define, shape and sell the best possible products and services to meet the needs of all stakeholders and optimize the ITU Telecom World experience, including exhibition space and sponsorships. The team also carry out competitive analysis of the fast-changing industry environment to make sure ITU Telecom events continue to deliver opportunities for all stakeholders.
Forum Service, who are responsible for delivering the dynamic debate agenda of each event, from shaping the programme - with key input from the ITU Bureaux and the industry's core players - to selecting, inviting and managing speakers, and working closely with the production team onsite to ensure a world-class experience.
Planning and Strategic Relationships Service, who plan and coordinate events and activities across the secretariat from design to delivery to ensure a fully-integrated approach within ITU. The team facilitates projects through applications, services and tools, and implements key programmes such as invitations and management of VIPs, registration processes and data analysis.
Operations Service, who select and deliver the best possible services to clients and stakeholders in all aspects of event-related logistics, including event construction projects, all services provided by external suppliers such as ICT and AV facilities, food and beverage services, and the coordination of social and networking events.
Marketing Communications Service, who are responsible for all aspects of event promotion, production, curation and dissemination of content related to ITU Telecom events, ensuring global awareness of the events and bringing ITU Telecom's benefits and messages to as wide an audience as possible around the world.
