A Joint Declaration regarding Strengthening Child Online Protection in Malta between ITU and Malta Foundation for the Wellbeing of Society (MFWS) was signed on 10 October 2023 by Dr Cosmas Luckyson Zavazava, Director of ITU’s Telecommunication Development Bureau, and H.E. Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, Chair of the Foundation.​​
