Venue
The ITU World Conference on International Telecommunications (WCIT-12) will be held at Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre, Dubai World Trade Centre (Dubai, United Arab Emirates) from 3–14 December 2012.
Registration
A unique and common registration procedure for the GSS-12, WTSA-12 and WCIT-12 events will open online on 20 August 2012 at the WCIT-12 website: http://www.itu.int/en/wcit-12/Pages/default.aspx. Provision of information through the online registration system does not exempt Member States from the need to submit an original credentials document (see Credentials information contained in Circular-letter 84.
- Pre-registration
Pre-registration using the online system is highly recommended for all participants in order to avoid delays upon arrival at the Conference Registration Desk. Pre-registered participants will receive a confirmation letter, by e-mail, within five (5) working days of receipt of registration.
- On-site registration
The Registration Service for the GSS-12, WTSA-12 and WCIT-12 events will be located [at the main entrance of the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre (DICEC) and will open on Saturday, 17 November 2012 through 14 December 2012 as mentioned below. The Registration Desk will be accessible without a badge.
- Opening hours of GSS, WTSA-12 and WCIT-12 Registration Desk:
17 and 18 November 2012: 10:00-12:00 & 16:00-18:00
19 November to 14 December 2012: 08:30-12:30 & 14:00-18:00 (closed on Saturdays and Sundays).
Accommodation
To reserve rooms in hotels recommended by the host country, participants are invited to book on line through the agency designated by the host country at:
http://www.wcit.ae. The rates of the Hotels include all applicable charges and municipality fees plus free internet and breakfast. Room confirmation will be provided within 48 hours of booking. Please note that hotel rooms cannot be booked through the ITU Secretariat.
Visas
Every foreign national travelling to UAE must be in possession of a valid passport. For complete details of visa requirements, participants are advised to consult the web site of the Host Country at http://www.wcit.ae. Enquiries should be submitted electronically to: info@pearlofarabia.com. If a visa is required, participants are requested to submit the request and official documents to UAE official authorities at: http://www.wcit.ae, preferably four weeks, but not less than three weeks, prior to travelling to UAE.
Meeting Room Management & Reservations
Meeting rooms within the Conference premises at Dubai World Trade Centre will be managed by the ITU Secretariat. Participants wishing to reserve a room are requested to complete a
Room Reservation Form. Requests will be processed on a first come first served basis. During the Conference, the Room Reservation Service will be located at DWTC, Office 23. For any further information, please contact

For all matters regarding social events during the Conference, please send all inquiries to
