Alternative Approval Process

The Alternative Approval Process (AAP) is an ITU-T fast-track approval procedure for technical standards that allows for a standard to be approved in as little as eight weeks.

The AAP was launched in January 2001 and since then, over 1000 standards have been approved with this process.
