The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is pleased to invite you to the live webinar "Episode 7: “Weak Encryption in DFS Transactions: Risks and Remedies" taking place on 25 November 2025 from 14:00 – 15:00 CEST via Zoom.

This session will explore the critical role of encryption in securing digital financial services transactions and the risks posed by weak or improperly implemented cryptography. Attackers often exploit these weaknesses to intercept sensitive data, manipulate transactions, or compromise mobile and web-based payment systems. Understanding these vulnerabilities and applying robust encryption strategies is essential for protecting consumers and maintaining trust in the digital financial ecosystem.

This webinar is the seventh series on digital financial service security, organized as part of the ITU DFS Security Lab activities.
