Dr. GE Yuming, a researcher at China Academy of Information and Communication Technology (CAICT). He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Networks from Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Science (ICT/CAS) and his BS degree in Communication Engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT). During 2009 and 2010, he visited Fraunhofer-Institut für Offene Kommunikations systeme (FOKUS) as a visiting scholar on the area of Cognitive Radio Networks (CRNs). Now, he focuses on the standardization, innovation research and international cooperation in the area of Internet of Things (IoT), especially Intelligent Transportation System (ITS), Connected Vehicles, Personal Information Protection and Smart Cities. Member of EU-China IoT Advisory Group in the area of Connected Vehicles.
