Mr. Feng Zhang is the Chief Engineer of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China (MIIT).
With a long working experience in the ICT industry, Mr. Zhang has in-depth observation of the modern ICT industry development.
Mr. Zhang's career started with his job as the Section Chief, then as the Deputy Director General and then as the Director General of Shijiazhuang Telecommunications Bureau, Hebei Province.
In June 1999, he began his work as the Director General and the Secretary of the Party Committee of Hebei Provincial Postal Administration, holding a concurrent post as the Director of the Information Mobilization Office, Hebei Defense Mobilization Committee since July 2003. From November 2009 to May 2013, he worked as the
Director ofthe Department of Information and Communications Development of MIIT. He is currently the Chief Engineer of MIIT since May 2013.
