​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Pimmy Gandotra received the B.E. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from University of Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir, India, in 2013. In 2014, she joined M.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra and pursued research in the area of Resource Allocation in D2D Communication. After completing M.Tech in 2016, she pursued her Ph. D degree from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra, Jammu and Kashmir, India, in the area of Green Communication in 5G and beyond networks. She defended her PhD in 2020. From September 2019 to July 2023, she has worked as a Post-doctoral researcher at IIT Delhi, where she worked on the projects on “Building up of the Indigenous 5G test bed”, “Standardization of 5G and beyond networks” and other projects funded by the Government of India. She has also worked on a project on Broadcast Communication in 5G with Samsung and mentored M.Tech students at IIT Delhi for their research work. She has delivered expert talks at different institutes. Her research interest includes the emerging technologies of 5G wireless communication network, including network slicing, NTNs, MEC, D2D communication, haptics communication. Currently she is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida. She has also received teaching assistantship from MHRD from 2014-2016. She is a member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).​
