​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​I am an Assistant Professor in the ECE department at the Indian Institute of Information Technology Guwahati-India. I did my Ph.D research work from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati-India in the area of Photonics and Fiber Optics. Some of the areas that fascinates me includes fiber lasers and amplifiers, fiber optic sensors, opto-mechanical sensors and applications of fiber optics in existing/new technologies.
