Vladimir Lavrukhin received his engineer degree in Mobile Communications in 2004 from The Bonch-Bruevich Saint-Petersburg State University of Telecommunications (SPBSUT) in Russia and is presently studying towards his PhD in Telecommunications and Networking at the same University.
He is the head of Research and Education Center for Wireless Communications in SPBSUT managing various projects in the field of LTE/WiFi integration and software-defined radio (SDR).
He works as Assistant Professor teaching different grade and course groups. He uses his public speaker skills performing at University conferences and various IT and telecom events. Vladimir is the founder of Russian Mobile School - the educational project in the field of Mobile Communications whose goal is to fill the gap between academic schooling and practical work.
