Thembayena Mgozi: a seasoned Information and Communications Technology (ICT) professional with 12 years of solid industry experience across multiple geographies, diverse sectors and organisations. He has worked for Telkom South Africa, an incumbent fixed-network operator; Nokia Networks, Inc. (A Joint Venture of Nokia Siemens Networks), one of the world's largest telecom equipment vendors; Internet Solutions, a Pan-African telecoms service provider - division of Dimension Data (A Wholly-Owned Subsidiary of the NTT Group) and Vodacom South Africa (A Subsidiary of Vodafone Group). This exposure has broadened his knowledge and developed his expertise within the ICT industry.
Thembayena has participated at major international conferences as a presenter, and panellist on emerging and innovative ICT best practices. He is currently employed on a full time basis as a Consultant for the State Information Technology Agency - SITA (SoC) Ltd, South Africa.
