Dhananjay Kumar received his Master of Engineering (M. E.) degree in Industrial Electronic Engineering at the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, in the year 1999 and subsequently obtained a Master of Technology (M. Tech.) degree in Communication Engineering at the Pondicherry Engineering College, Pondicherry in the year 2001. A Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D.) degree was awarded to him by Anna University, Chennai in the year 2009 for his research work on high quality multimedia support in next generation multi-carrier wireless mobile networks. Currently he is the Professor-in-charge of undergraduate program in the department of Information Technology, Anna University, MIT, Chennai.
Dr. Dhananjay Kumar and his team is developing a system to support high quality video streaming in internet over 4G wireless networks. A group of researchers are working under his guidance for the remote analysis of streamed live video for the purpose of peripheral security of a home/office.
