Cristina Pauner is Professor of Constitutional Law at the Universitat Jaume I of Castellón. Currently, she develops her research on privacy and data protection as she works on two projects focused on the European Proposal on Data Protection Regulation (funded by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness and University Jaume I. 2013-2015).
She is also involved in European projects: CRISP (Evaluation and certification schemes for security products - 2014-2017) and PHAEDRA II (Improving Practical and Helpful cooperAtion betweEn Data Protection Authorities II – 2014-2016) funded by the European Commission. Her most recent publications address data protection, freedom of expression, journalism and the challenge of privacy in the digital media.
