Chihiro Maru received her Bachelor's degree in information science from Ochanomizu University, Japan in 2015. She is now a master course student in Ochanomizu University.
Her research interests includes analysis of social media and controlling a distributed system. She is now engaged in the Strategic Information and Communications R&D Promotion Programme supported by the Japanese government.
