Third SG13 Regional Workshop for Africa on “ITU-T Standardization Challenges for Developing Countries Working for a Connected Africa”

Introduction

At the kind invitation of the Zambia Information and Communication Technology Authority (ZICTA), the International Telecommunication Union is organizing the ​3rd SG13 Regional Workshop for Africa on "ITU-T Standardization Challenges for Developing Countries Working for a Connected Africa". This event will take place at the Zambezi Sun Hotel in Livingstone, Zambia from 23 to 24 February 2015 and will immediately be followed by the SG13-RG-AFR meeting from 25 to 26 February 2015. 

Objectives

The main objectives of this event are to:

Target Audience

Focused on the particularities and telecom demands of the continent, this workshop will bring together regulators, operators, manufacturers, service providers - different stakeholders in Africa - together with engineers and academic members. Students as well as a broad audience is also welcome to attend.
