KENYOSHI Kaoru

S3P3-photo-Kaoru-Kenyoshi.jpgMr Kenyoshi joined NEC in 1984 and for ten years was engaged in software development for switching systems for ISDN and B-ISDN. From 1995 to 2000 he worked as a manager in the Planning division for switching systems and was in charge of strategic planning for switching system services and products for the carrier market. From 2000 to 2006, he worked as a general and chief manager in the Sales and Solution department for fixed and mobile networks. In recent years he has been in charge of the promotion of NEC’s solutions for fixed and mobile operators.

Mr Kenyoshi has been an active participant at standards meetings, especially ITU-T, for 20 years and since 2009 has been Vice-Chairman of ITU-T SG11. He has the responsibility of the standardization of Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and resource control protocols in ITU-T SG11 and he has taken the lead roles to contribute in the harmonization of various protocol standards based on the concept of consistent end-to-end interoperability in ITU-T SG11. He has been a board member of ETSI from 2011. He participated in the board meetings and General assembly and joined the discussion such as strategic topics of ETSI.
