Mr Hellali Abdelmajid has begun his professional career in 1985 as telecom engineer at the Tunisian research and studies in telecommunications Centre. In 1991, he joined the general office of telecommunications as a national project manager in charge of the deployment of telecom infrastructure. Then along 12 years, he has experienced the operational management either as an operational director in mobile department with the incumbent telecom operator, or as a head of region participating in the expansion and the operation of telecommunication services in different technologies for urban or rural areas to serve citizens and enterprises. This experience constituted in some regions a hard battle against digital divide.
In 2007, he was accredited as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the technopark of Sfax which is specialized in ICT and Multimedia.
This was a very rich and concrete experience as concerns networking, governance and business model conception aspects. He perceived closely the different ingredients to build an innovation and business ecosystem with different stakeholders (government, academia, research institutes and economic enterprises) and shareholders according to a newly applied concept of PPP (Public-Private Partnership).
In 2012, he joined Tunisie telecom to participate in building the enterprise spin-off (Essaimage) system considered as a concrete tool for innovation, enterprise agility and entrepreneurship promotion too.
