​Gilles DRETSCH has been working at Orange Group for 14 years. After having managed several innovation projects for mobile network evolutions in the R&D Division and be involved in 3GPP standardization and European Collaborative projects, he joined the CSR Department 4 years ago.
His main mission in the Environment Division is to define and coordinate waste management policy and initiatives at corporate level for Orange subsidiaries in Europe and Africa to both ensure regulation compliancy and develop new value creation opportunities.
He is also responsible of the relationships with external stakeholders (public authorities, industry, customers, NGO, investors…) on that subjects.
For ITU-T, Gilles is involved in SG5/Q13 on e-waste issues. He is the editor of the Technical paper on life-cycle management of ICT equipment started in 2013.
