Hein Dries-Ziekenheiner is an independent consultant with 15 years of experience in internet abuse and online enforcement, as well as regulatory policy.
Trained a lawyer (Masters from Leiden University where he also worked as researcher at the eLaw department) Hein has a unique, and moistly technical background in both anti-spam enforcement as well as regulatory (VOIP) based policy development (with the Netherlands Telecoms Regulator amongst others). He currently consults with many international regulators on issues related to cybersecurity policy and (VOIP) abuse, focussing on bringing together technical solutions and policy development efforts.
His consultancy is an observer at the London Action Plan and he is a frequent participant to the work of the M3AAWG VTA (Voip and Telephony Abuse) SIG (Special interest Group).
