Introduction
The Bridging the Standardization Gap Session on IoT (Training on IoT) took place at the Dusit Thani Lakeview Cairo  on 6 May 2018 from 11h30 - 16h00 and was kindly hosted by the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA). The Bridging the Standardization Gap Session on IoT (Training on IoT) provided a platform to present the oneM2M technical specifications which have been transposed into ITU-T Recommendations with a view to Bridging the Standardization Gap. The Bridging the Standardization Gap Session on IoT had a special focus on IoT Interoperability. The Bridging the Standardization Gap Session on IoT was organized by ITU together with TTA (Korea, Rep of.) and NTRA (Egypt), and was kindly supported by the Ministry of Science and ICT (Korea, Rep of.).
