Alessandro Pane is currently Head of Ericsson R&D Italy and Head of Product Development Unit Optical & Metro, with worldwide responsibilities that involve employees in Italy, China and India.
He joined Ericsson in 1985 and successfully held several senior technical, planning and management positions.His career has been marked by international assignments in Sweden and other Ericsson sites worldwide.
Alessandro Pane actively represents Ericsson at internal and external events in the industry, providing relevant feedback from the market to Ericsson’s Product Development Units and Product Lines. He also has a proven attitude to support the organization in creating new business opportunities while addressing Customers’ key issues and ambitions and responding with relevant propositions built with deep knowledge of Ericsson’s products and services as well as with knowledge from the Information and Communications Technology industry.
The encouragement of Knowledge Sharing and Superior Quality Assurance initiatives within the R&D Italy community are to be counted among his main capabilities, as well as the research and introduction of new technologies and innovating solutions based upon his global experiences.
