POULLIE Patrick

patrick P.jpgPatrick Gwydion Poullie received his Master Degree M.Sc.in Computer Science from the University of Düsseldorf in 2011. During his studies he focused on graph and complexity theory and computer networks. In 2011 he started as Ph.D. and Junior Researcher at the Communication Systems Group, University of Zurich. He has been involved in the EU CSA SESERV project, which studied socio-economic aspects of the Internet to bridge the gap between engineers and experts from social and economic sciences. In the framework of this project the Tussle Analysis was developed and applied multiple times. Currently, Patrick is active in the EU STREP SmartenIT and the EU NoE FLAMINGO project. His research interests include the fair allocation of heterogenous cloud resources such as CPU, RAM, and bandwidth. For this reason, he currently investigates dependencies between these resources, when consumed by virtual machines.
