Erik Andersen Editor of ITU-T X.509 | Independent Consultant, Andersen, L-Service, Denmark
Erik Andersen was employed by IBM for 27 years and was in the early 1980th appointed by IBM to be the IBM representative in Danish Standards (OSI). Became chair of the Danish committee for Open Systems Interconnection standardization and participated in numerous international meetings within ISO/IEC and was quite active. After leaving IBM, continued to work for international standardization in European standardization arena. Was during four study periods rapporteur for the question, currently Question 11, that is responsible for the ITU.T X.500 series, which is collaborative work with ISO/IEC, which has published the series as ISO/IEC 9594-all parts. Has for 12 years or more been the project editor for the ITU-T X.500 series, also on the ISO/IEC side. Rec. ITU-T X.509, alias ISO/IEC 9594-8, is part of the ITU-T X.500 series. X.509 being the framework for public-key infrastructure is an extremely important specification.

Sofía Celi is a Senior Cryptography Researcher at Brave, specializing in privacy-enhancing technologies, post-quantum cryptography, and secure communication systems. She is a member of the Advisory Council at the Open Technology Fund (OTF) and holds leadership roles within the IETF, IRTF, and W3C. Sofía has also provided expert consultations for the United Nations and human rights organizations. As a co-founder of Criptolatinos and Women in Cryptography, Sofía is committed to fostering diversity in cryptography and security. She is actively engaged in the academic community, serving as a member of the Latincrypt Steering Committee, Publicity Co-Chair of the PETS Symposium, IACR ePrint Co-Editor, and IEEE Security & Privacy Ethics Co-Chair. Passionate about driving positive change in the telecommunications sector, Jad is currently serving as a Senior Public Policy Technical Advisor at RIPE NCC, the Regional Internet Registry serving Europe, Central Asia and the Middle East. Steffen Fries is working in the area of cybersecurity within Siemens Technology for more than 25 years. As principal engineer he mainly focuses on the analysis, design, and implementation of secure communication solutions for different verticals. This requires collaborating with system architects, implementers, and product management in order to design secure solutions. Within standardization, he is editor of and contributor to several IEC 62351 documents in the IEC TC for power system automation. Besides this he is active in IEEE to secure time synchronization for the precision time protocol IEEE 1588. Assaf Klinger is an accomplished entrepreneur, specializing in AI/ML, cryptography, blockchain and Telecom. Stiepan Kovac QRC Eurosmart SA, Luxembourg
Mr. Kovac, CEO of the QRC group of companies (Quantum Resistant Cryptography), sparked ISO/IEC JTC1 SC27 18033-2 Amd2 with the goal to add « post quantum » ciphers to that standard, likewise is the editor of ITU-T X.1197 Amd1 (2019), the first ever comprehensive quantum resistant cryptography recommendation, followed by X.1811 which provides it with a good practice for use in 5G networks and H.551 which extends its recommended use to vehicular multimedia. He is also the main driving force of European cryptography standardization with DIN SPEC 4997 as foundational work, soon to become an EN, likewise a renowned expert in US national security and defense circles on the question of qrc as a field and how to make it secure. He’s also an author in the SC27 journal, on the subject of "how to make cryptographic standards secure in practice.”

Professor Stephen Mason is a legal scholar and practitioner, known for his expertise in electronic evidence and technology law. He was called to the Bar by the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple in 1988 and has served as a Visiting Lecturer at the School of Law, University of Tartu, Estonia, as well as an Associate Research Fellow at the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies. Ms Zoe Sungchae Park received her Bachelor’s degree in 2008 from Soonchunhyang University, Korea. She is currently pursuing an integrated Master’s and PhD programme, which she is expected to complete in 2024, and works at the Cybersecurity Emerging-Standards Center (CESC) of Soonchunhyang University as a senior researcher. She is a founding member of VODABI, a company specialising in AI-based conversation analysis, and has over 10 years of industry experience in the security field, including roles in security vendors and the financial sector. She currently serves as the Rapporteur for Q1 in ITU-T SG17 and is the editor of multiple standardisation documents(X.sr-ai, X.st-ssc, etc) on cybersecurity in ITU-T. She has also served as a co-chair of Correspondence Group to SG17 Restructuring (CG-RES).

Arnaud Taddei CEO, Chair, ITU-T Study Group 17, Security | Broadcom
Mr. Arnaud Taddei is a Global Security Strategist at Symantec by Broadcom. He is an executive advisor on Security Strategy and Transformation for the top 150 Symantec customers. As part of his mission, M. Taddei participates in specific Standardization Defining Organizations and in particular, was elected ITU-T SG17 Chair representing the UK and works at the IETF. He started his career in 1993 at the famous CERN IT Division in Geneva which created the World Wide Web and where he led the team responsible for Communication, Authentication and Authorization. In 2000, he joined Sun Microsystems where he became one of the 100 elected global Principle Engineers. In 2007 he joined Symantec and hold Chief Architect roles up to Director of Research as direct report to Dr. Hugh Thompson, Symantec’s CTO and actual RSA Conference Chair. Graduated as Telecom Engineer from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Télécommunication de Bretagne, France, M. Taddei owns a DEA with INRIA, which led him to the Institute of Control Sciences, Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow in 1992.
