tsbevents@itu.intIntroductionThe International Telecommunication Union (ITU) organized the sixth workshop on Network 2030 and Demo Day which took place on 13 January 2020 and 14 January 2020 (morning only) in Lisbon, Portugal. The workshop was kindly hosted by the
Instituto de Telecomunicações (Portugal) and
Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE). The workshop was collocated with the sixth meeting of the ITU-T Focus Group Technologies for Network 2030 (FG NET2030) taking place from 14-15 January 2020 at the same venue.
ObjectivesThe workshop on Network 2030 aimed to provide a forum for both industry and academia to exchange their ideas about data communications networks in the year 2030 and thereafter. Presenters,demonstrators and participants were able to share their visions, views, findings, latest research, and their project descriptions and goals.
Target Audience
The target audience included ITU Member States, Sector Members, Associates and Academic Institutions and individuals from a country that is a member of ITU who wished to contribute to the work. This included individuals who are also members of international, regional and national organizations. Participation in the workshop was free of charge.
