FrancoisFrançois E. Guichard
UNECE, Secretary of the Working Party on Automated/Autonomous and Connected vehicles (WP.29/GRVA)

Francois E. Guichard is United Nations (UNECE) secretary of the Working Party on Automated/Autonomous and Connected vehicles (WP.29/GRVA). He is the Intelligent Transport Systems and Automated Driving focal point of the UNECE and is supervising the activities on technical regulations related to vehicle automation and vehicle connectivity. Previously, he worked as line manager at Daimler AG, he advocated for the introduction of Advance Emergency Braking Systems (AEBS) in the legislation (a significant contribution for increasing road safety). Before that, he advised (as industry representative) a number of Countries as well as institutions such as the European Commission and UENCE on their strategies to tackle environmental issues after having gained experience as emission testing engineer. He started his career as International Management Associate at Mercedes-Benz, gaining experience in Germany, South Africa and in the United States of America.
Yansong Guo
Vice President of R&D Ce​nter of Great Wall Motor

Yansong Guo, Vice President of R&D Center of Great Wall Motor , is in charge of electronic and electrical appliances, software and hardware research and development, connected car related technologies and so on; meanwhile Mr. Guo is holding position of Vice-Chairman of the ITU-T SG16 WG1 (Domestic Group )and member of Telematics Industry Application Alliance.
MasaMasahito Kawamori
Project Professor, Graduate School of Keio University

Dr. Masahito Kawamori is a Project Professor at Graduate School of Keio University. Before joining Keio University, he was a research engineer at NTT, working on artificial intelligence, healthcare informatics, next generation broadband, and multimedia. He has been an active participant of the standardization at ITU-T, as Rapporteur of Question 26 (accessibility) and Question 28 (e-health) in the Study Group 16, the lead Study Group for multimedia and e-services.

Director, Quality and Wisdom​, Fujitsu, Japan​​

Dr. ​Kotani joined Fujitsu Laboratories Ltd. in 1982 and conducted research on superconductivity. He got Board of Director position of Trusted Computing Group (TCG) in 2006. In 2016, he transitioned to Fujitsu Ltd. and now he is leading the trusted computing infrastructure and IoT businesses based on TCG technologies.​

​​ Jun (Harry) Li
Jun (Harry) Li, Chair FG-VM, TIAA, China

Jun Li is Secretary General of TIAA (Telematics industry Application Alliance), Senior Engineer. He has 20 years of experience in the field of Mobile and Satellite, has a deep understanding of the mobile communication and satellite broadcasting technology, and have participated and chaired the TD-LTE sta​ndard, industrialization and internationalization, mainly at present responsible for “Internet plus” satellite mobile broadcasting network integration terminal standards and industrialization. He serves as deputy secretary general of TIAA of China, is also the team leader of vehicle digital multimedia workgroup of TIAA, take charge in the construction of China's vehicle digital multimedia Eco-system.
MaWWanzhong Ma
Senior Engineer,  R&D Department, IFLYTEK

Dr. Wanzhong Ma is senior engineer in R&D department of IFLYTEK CO., LTD., which is an AI company with world-leading technologies (e.g., ML, intelligent speech, CV and NLP), and is also the state key – laboratory of cognitive intelligence in China. He also serves as postdoctoral research fellow in information science at Wuhan university.
He has experience in ICT standardization over 5 years, and is registered expert of ISO/IEC JTC1 SC42 artificial intelligence, ISO/IEC JTC1 SC35 user interfaces, ISO/IEC JTC1 WG11 smart cities, IEC/SEG 10 ethics in autonomous and artificial intelligence applications, and IEC/SyC smart cities. Currently, he acts as the editor of ISO/IEC JTC1 SC42 SG1 study report and two IEC working items of smart city systems.
Stefano Polidori
Advisor, TSB, ITU

Stefano is Advisor at the International Telecommunication Union and responsible for the technical secretariat of ITU-T Study Group 9 "Broadband cable and TV”. He is also responsible for the Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) activities, including the Symposium on the Future Networked Car at the Geneva Motor Show. Stefano is the ITU representative to the European Multi Stakeholder Platform on ICT Standardization at the European Commission. After few years in the private sector, joined the ITU in 2004 covering various positions including Coordinator for ITU Kaleidoscope academic conference and Advisor for Study Group 11 "Signalling, protocols and test specifications". Stefano holds a Master in Electronic Engineering from the University of Rome, Italy and a Master of Science in mobile communication from Aalborg University, Denmark.

TanumaTomoyuki Tanuma
Director, ICT Standardization Division, Global Strategy Bureau, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC), Japan

Mr. Tanuma joined Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications (MPT, former MIC) in 1994. Most of his career in the Ministry relates to frequency management policy and telecommunications policy including international coordination. He used to work for Asia-Pacific Telecommunity (APT) as Programme Officer from 2003 to 2006 and also participated in many ITU activities such as RA-12 and WRC-12 as Deputy Head of Delegation of Japan, and several ITU-R meetings related to IMT. He also worked for the Cabinet Office from 2013 to 2015 as Counsellor in charge of national research project on automated driving systems. He has been in his current position since July 2018 and his major responsibility is on standardization activities in the field of ICT.

Mr. Qiu Jin, he is Senior Software Engineer. He has many years of experience in the field of data security, has a deep understanding of the digital content protection and cryptography technology. At present,It is mainly responsible for the industrial practice and standardization of digital multimedia content protection for “Internet plus" satellite mobile broadcasting network integration terminal.

Mr. Wang Yong, he is the deputy general manager of Datang Microelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. He has 10 years of R&D and management experiences in the field of integrated circuit, which includes security chips of smart cards, terminal devices, IoT devices as well as fingerprint identification chips. Apart from the chip development, he engages in the field of provision of system security solutions. He participates the Core Electronic Devices, High-end Generic Chips & Basic Software and New Generation Broadband Wireless Mobile Communication Network directions of National Science and Technology Major Project, VLSI Design Project of National High-tech R&D Program of China, MIIT Industrial transformation and Upgrading project and other projects.

Xiaofeng Yi (Kimberly Yi), Connected Car Architecture Director of Great Wall Motor, Secretary General of the Chinese domestic group of ITU-T FG-VM and support the editorship of related documents, trilingual speaker. She  successively held the posts of Assistant to Chairman of One Satellite-Exportation-Company, Early-Member of Baidu Telematics Department Business Development Team, and ex-Vice President for Greater China Region of Bright Box.
