ZANON Joao Alexander

Zanon.jpgJoao Zanon (zanon@anatel.gov.br) is a Telecommunication engineer and works as one of the coordinators of the Regulatory Team of ANATEL, the Brazilian telecommunication regulatory body. At ANATEL, he leads the project on the combat of counterfeit, substandard, unauthorized and stolen ICT devices, and also focus his work on other mobile service regulation subjects (like quality of service measurement, transition to IPv6, MVNO, Mobile Payment and Geolocation on emergency calls, among others). He also has been contributing on international forums, like REGULATEL, ITU and CITEL, and today is Associate rapporteur of the Question Q8/11 of ITU-T, Liaison Officer from ITU-T SG11 to CITEL, and Co-Rapporteur on CITEL’s PCCI Rapporteurship responsible for the discussion on counterfeit, substandard, unauthorized and stolen ICT devices.​
