As a signaling and protocol expert, Minrui Shi designed the China Telecom's SS7 network and international roaming architecture, developed IN services and lead research and deployment SS7 firewall to prevent fraud and abuse. As a Rapporteur of Q11 (study period 2009-2012) and Q13 (study period 2013-2016) of SG11, Minrui developed a series monitoring parameters sets of protocols.
