​​New feature implemented on e​-Communications system on 06.03​.2024

The new feature to link the satellite network filings with related correspondence between notifying administrations and the Bureau​ has been introduced on e-Communications.​ Please see here for the details.​

 ​​​​ Notice for A​dministrations
  • As from 23 October 2019, all types of administrative correspondence related to space services between Administratio​ns and the Bureau, as well as between ​​​Administrations, can be communicated using an online communication platform "e-Communications".
  • During an initial period of operation, 
    • corresponden​ce from Administrations to the Bureau can be sent either using the traditional means of communication or using "e-Communications".
    • outgoing correspondence from the Bureau will be sent by both the traditional means of communication and through the “e-Communications”.
  • The all correspondence communicated with the Bureau via telefax or email after 23 October 2019 will be uploaded on the pages of "Inbox" (for the correspondence from the Bureau to Administrations) or "Sent" box (for the correspondence from Administrations to the Bureau). 
  • The list of Administrations already registered on the system is shown on this pag​e and on the system site.​

​​​e-Communications is an online communication platform to allow administrations and the Bureau to send and receive administrative correspondences related to space services through an online interface instead via emails or faxes. This system has been developed under Resolution 907 (rev WRC-15).

This o​nline application covers all types of administrative correspondences including non Spacecom comments (comments which don't require SpaceCom comments files) between administrations and the Bureau as well as between administrations.

How to get user accounts​​

  • All existing users registered with "e-Submission" with Administration Manager or Administration User roles as of 22 October 2019 have been automatically added to “e-Communications” with the same roles.
  • Those e-Submission users​ can log in e-Communications with their TIES user names and passwords through log in page.
  • The Administration Manager can authorize access to e-Communications for other Administration Users.
  • Administrations not registered in “e-Submission” as of 22 October 2019 are requested to first designate an Administration Manager to the Bureau via a telefax or email. Please see this page for more detailed information.

What should be submitted through e-Submission, SIRRS and e-Communications?

  • Use e-Communications for non Spacecom comments (with no SpaceCom mdb files). Navigate to "Inbox" page and compose your message.
  • Use e-Submission for the submissions of satellite network filings or SpaceCom comments files to the Bureau.
  • Use SIRRS for reporting a harmful interference affecting space services.​

For Administrations wishing to use “e-Communications" as the only means of communication

The Administration wishing to discontinue the traditional means of communication via email, telefax and postal mail by replacing them with  “e-Communications" as the only means of the communication with the Bureau, are invited to inform the Bureau of its willingness to discontinue to use the traditional means, pursuant to resolves 3 of Resolution 907 (rev WRC-15).
