RRS-17-Asia&Pacific, Phnom Penh, Cambodia, 4-7 December 2017

​​​ ​​​​​​​​​The Regional Radiocommunication Seminar for Asia & Pacific (RRS-17-Asia&Pacific) will be held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, from Monday 4th to Thursday 7th December 2017, is jointly organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of Cambodia (MPTC). This Seminar will be held in the following format:
Languages/Format
The lectures and discussions during RRS-17-Asia&Pacific will be in English only. The seminar will be conducted in a "paperless" environment. Given the amount of practical work expected during the workshops, participants are required to bring their laptops which shall comply with a set of minimal specifications.

 
Registration
Member States, ITU-R Sector Members, Associates and Academia from Asia and Pacific countries are invited to attend the RRS-17-Asia&Pacific. Attendance to this Seminar is free of charge for their representatives.
Registration for this event is carried out exclusively online, through their respective designated focal point (DFP).

Advance registration of all participations is strongly advised. Unannounced participants may face further delays at the on-site registration desk.​

Please take note that citizens of some countries are required to obtain a visa in order to enter in Cambodia, instructions in this regard are on the above-mentioned document.

 
Fellowship
Recognizing the difficulties faced by low-income countries, the ITU offers one partial fellowship per eligible country in the Asia & Pacific region, with priority given to requests coming from least developed countries (LDCs). Fellowships should be requested by designated focal points during the online registration process (see "Registration" above) and must be submitted before Friday, 10 November 2017.​
