24th Annual International Conference on Digital Government Research

Aiming to acknowledge and celebrate the remarkable efforts of European countries in driving inclusive and sustainable digital development, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), in close collaboration with the GovStack founding partners, will be part of the "24th Annual International Conference on Digital Government Research" held in Gdańsk, Poland.

As an integral part of this event on July 14th, a special session on "GovStack Global - Democratizing access to digital government services at scale" will be convened, along with the "Open consultation GovStack Research Agenda". These sessions aim to foster the exchange of opinions, expertise, and partnerships within the European region and beyond. By emphasizing the potential of well-defined and widely adopted tech standards in shaping the future of digital government, we will spotlight the outstanding achievements and initiatives of member states in leveraging digital technologies for societal and economic advancement.

Together with representatives from Estonia, Germany, Moldova, the Netherlands, and Poland, we aim to harness the potential of further collaborations, knowledge sharing, and strengthening partnerships. Through engaging panel discussions and insightful presentations, we will explore how these tech standards can foster seamless integration, compatibility, and user-centric experiences in governance.

In addition to the plenary session, an open consultation workshop on the GovStack Research Agenda will contribute to shaping the future of digital government research. Together, we will shape research questions, explore trending topics, and set the direction for future GovStack research.
