Jaroslaw Ponder, Head of the International Telecommunication Union Office for Europe Mr. Jaroslaw K. Ponder, is the Head of the Office for Europe at the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), representing ITU in Europe and directing actions, projects, initiatives and experts groups targeting 46 countries of the Europe Region. His portfolio includes Regional Initiatives for Europe, designed by the European Member States and focusing on the ICT Infrastructure, Digitization, Digital Inclusion, Accessibility, Innovation and Cybersecurity. During his professional career, Mr. Ponder has held official positions in the public sector and has been a leading contributor to legislative projects, which influenced public policy. Since 2004, he has been working for ITU holding diverse positions in the General Secretariat, Telecommunication Development Bureau, and Regional Presence, addressing the complexity of information society development and digital transformation at national, regional, international level, including United Nations level. For several years, Mr. Ponder has managed ITU's work in the United Nations World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) process, establishing the annual WSIS Forum, WSIS Prizes, WSIS Stocktaking, and others. In his current role, Mr. Ponder has established several formal coordination mechanisms facilitating the work of UN agencies in advancing digital transformation at the national and regional level.

Prior to joining the ITU, she worked in marketing for a business management software provider in Romania. Ms. Mocanu is a History graduate from the Faculty of History, University of Bucharest and holds a master's degree from the same University in Diplomatic Techniques. She is also a graduate of UNU-Merit and Maastricht University with a master's degree in Public Policy and Human Development, specializing in social entrepreneurship.

Klorenta Janushi Pashaj, Head of Communication and Information Dissemination Unit, National Authority for Electronic Certification and Cyber Security, Council of MinisterAwarded as Top 100 "Women of Influence in Cyber Security in Europe", Ms. Klorenta Janushi Pashaj is the President of Women4Cyber Albania, an initiative which aims to promote, encourage and support the participation of women in cyber security. She participates actively in national and international discussion of cyber security and works every day to change the historical data of underrepresentation of women and girls in cyber security labor market. She holds the position of Head of Communication and Information Dissemination Unit at the National Authority for Electronic Certification and Cyber Security, Council of Minister. Ms. Pashaj is the first Albanian expert accepted by European Commission in its FUTURIUM Women4cyber Register.

Daniela Pesheva, State Expert, Ministry of e-Government of BulgariaMs. Daniela Pesheva is a graduated mechanical engineer and holds a master's degree in Accounting and Control and a master's degree in Public Administration. She has extensive administrative and professional experience in Information Technology and Information Society policy and development in Bulgaria. She is an expert in the postal services field, with participation in activities related to international aspects in the postal sector, Universal Postal Union and Post Regulation. She worked as an expert for the Directorate for European Integration and International Relations. Since 2009, she is working with the Ministry of Transport, information Technology and Communications in the development of expert analyses, opinions and proposals relating to the development of ICT and broadband development and improvement of methodologies for eGovernment in the public administration. She also participates in the development of strategic documents in the field of ICT and proposals for legal acts linked to the implementation of e-government, as well as in expert working groups in the field of eGovernment and the development of information society. Ms. Pesheva actively participates in the development and implementation of projects, realized and supported by European funding.

Inga Rimkeviciene, Head of International and Public Relations at the Communications Regulatory Authority (RRT) of the Republic of Lithuania and Chair of Com-ITU PT WTDC-21Ms. Inga Rimkeviciene, Head of International and Public Relations at the Communications Regulatory Authority (RRT) of the Republic of Lithuania, works at the national communications regulator for more than 15 years. She participated in several EU projects in the field of electronic communications, member of Standardization Technical Committee on Electromagnetic Compatibility (TK 8). Since 2018, Member of Lithuanian delegation at the main ITU events, including the ITU Plenipotentiary Conference (Dubai, 2018), ITU Council, GSR, other. Since 2019, Chair of the Steering Committee of ITU Europe Centres of Excellence. Since May 2020, the Chair of the CEPT Project Team on preparation to the WTDC-21 and the main coordinator of preparations of Europe for the WTDC. Active participant of the Network of Women (NoW) for Europe Region, member of the Advisory Board of the Network of Women for WTDC (NoW4WTDC).

Antonella Gatt, Director International Relations and Program Implementation, Ministry of Education in MaltaMs. Antonella Gatt, holds the position of Director International Relations and Programme Implementation at the Ministry for Education in Malta. She is also the Project Co-ordinator of a Child Online Protection project within the Malta Foundation for the Wellbeing of Society. Ms. Gatt joined the Permanent Representation of Malta to the EU in Brussels in June 2015 as Senior Policy Officer within the External Relations Unit whereby she was responsible for the geographical region of Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Between 2016 and 2019, she held the position of Employment and Social Policy Attaché at the Permanent Representation of Malta to the EU in Brussels. During the Maltese EU Presidency in 2017, Ms. Gatt was the Chair of the Social Questions Working Party (Social Policy). Prior to this, Ms. Gatt has worked at the EU Secretariat within the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister at the Ministry for European Affairs and Implementation of the Electoral Manifesto in Malta, where she was responsible for the Employment and Social Policy as well as the Education, Youth, Culture and Sports Council formations. She has read for a Bachelors degree (hons.) in European Studies from the University of Malta in 2007 – 2010 including an Erasmus exchange at the University of Limerick in Ireland. She has graduated with a double Masters degree in European Culture with distinction from the University of Deusto (Spain) and the University of Göttingen (Germany) in 2012. Ms. Gatt has also graduated with a Masters degree in Contemporary European Studies with Merit from the University of Sussex (UK) in 2013. |
