About the project

Digital Government Cooperation for Central Asia and the Caucasus

​​​​​​The project is being implemented by the ITU Regional Office for the CIS Region with technical support from JSC NIT (Kazakhstan) and financial support from the Eurasian Development Bank.

Project areas of work: 

​1 Overview of the current situation and needs of countries 
- preparing a questionnaire for studying the national stack
- analysis of current progress in building a digital government 

2 ​​Creating a regional platform for sharing experiences, demonstrating best practices, and identifying potential partners 
- creating a basis for regional cooperation through the involvement of coordinators and technical experts from countries in the region 
​- publishing information on the technical stack of countries and use cases on a regional platform 

3 ​Raising awareness of the GovStack approach and understanding of best practices and available resources for effective digital transformation 
- conducting a series of technical training webinars on various components of digital government 
- facilitating bilateral exchange of experience 

4 Promoting best practices of countries in the region in the international arena 
​- involving countries in the preparation of international technical specifications based on their own open-source developments 
​- preparation of scenarios and prototypes for the implementation of solutions ​
