ITU-PITA Workshop on Mobile network planning and mobile security

The ITU PITA Workshop on “Mobile network planning and security for the Pacific Islands Countries" held in Nadi, Fiji from 23 to 25 October 2019. The workshop organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the Pacific Islands Telecommunications Association (PITA), and held from 15-18 August 2017 in Suva, Fiji. The workshop supported by the [Department of Communications, Government of Fiji] and the Department of Communications and the Arts (DoCA), Government of Australia. It delivered in English and held back to back with the PITA Strategy Forum 2019.

The workshop designed to enhance the understanding of participants on mobile network planning and mobile security in the context of Pacific Islands. It bring together stakeholders from government, industry, development organizations and other organizations to share the developments and raise awareness on technology, standards, network planning and security related to advanced mobile technologies.
