The International Telecommunication Union (ITU), in collaboration with the Ministry of ICTs and ANRTIC and emergency response agencies (DGSC), organized EW4ALL-Pillar 3 National Multi-stakeholder Workshop
from 14 to 18 April 2025 in Moroni, Comoros. This initiative is aligned with the United Nations' Early Warnings for All (EW4All) initiative and is specifically aimed at enhancing the national capacity for emergency telecommunications. Organized jointly by
ANRTIC, DGSC, and ITU, with participation from stakeholders including UNDRR, WMO, IFRC, and the World Bank, the workshop facilitated critical discussions on the implementation of the National Emergency Telecommunications Plan (NETP), Common Alerting Protocol
(CAP), and Cell Broadcast Service (CBS) Early Warning Systems.
