The ITU Telecommunication Development Bureau (BDT) organized a webinar to mark the official launch of the joint best practice case study on ‘Measuring National ICT Sector Environmental Impact: Arcep Case Study - France’ by ITU and the World Bank. The case study was officially launched by Dr Cosmas Luckyson Zavazava, BDT Director, in his
welcome remarks.
The webinar, titled 'Measuring the Environmental Impact of the ICT Sector: Lessons and Insights from France, Brazil, South Africa, and Zambia,' was attended by more than 130 participants. It featured a panel discussion with regulators from these countries to explore lessons learned and to discuss how regulators can enhance environmental data collection.
