DESCRIPTION OF THE SESSION

In the context of the Women in Cyber Mentorship Programme, ITU, FIRST and EQUALS have the pleasure to present the fourth and final Keynote Webinar of our INSPIRE series, where speakers are well-known women in cybersecurity showcasing their career paths, hence promoting role models and the perception of women not as a special needs group, but as valuable additions to the cybersecurity workforce.

Best-selling author, award winning entrepreneur and 23-year cybersecurity veteran Jane Frankland was helping to discover her top 10 insights for success along with the tripwires and challenges you need to look out for.

Key takeaways from the session include:
  • Understanding the rules of business and how they differ for women.
  • Discovering the main challenges women in male dominated industries face and how to overcome them.
  • Gaining 10 insights that will empower you and enable you to advance as far and as fast as you want without having to become something you’re not.
  • Recognising the roadblocks that will stand in your way as you progress.
At the occasion of the final inspirational keynote webinar, the session marked the closing of the 2021 edition of the Women in Cyber Mentorship Programme, and included a completion ceremony for the 2021 mentee cohort.
