Sophia Valle

Recent graduate​​

Sofia is a graduate of International Relations. Apart from being a technological enthusiast, she is extremely passionate about the political world and is therefore driven by the desire to find solutions and innovations in politics that can have a positive impact on society.

In 2019, she won a full scholarship to participate in the World Youth Forum in Egypt. In 2020, Sofia was selected as an IGF Youth Ambassador, representing the Internet Society at the UN Internet Governance Forum. In 2021, Sofia was selected to be one of the 15 young people in the Americas to join the ITU Generation Connect - Americas Youth Group (GC-AMS) at the UN Telecommunications agency.

Sofia recently participated in a ‘Talking Tech series: Women and Girls in ICT’ discussion in support of Girls in ICT Day 2020-2022.
