As we approach the opening ceremony of <strong>WTSA-24<\/strong>, we are excited to remind you that this year\u2019s event will be inaugurated by His Excellency, the Honourable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, on\u202f<strong>Tuesday 15 October 2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>                            <div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is a historic occasion, marking the first time WTSA is being hosted in Asia\u2014an opportunity not to be missed!&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>                            <div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Due to heightened security, there have been changes to some of the timings communicated previously. Please note the following important information and logistical requirements.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>                            <div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Changes to timing on Tuesday 15 October have been outlined in <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">RED<\/mark>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>                            <div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1. Badge Collection \u2013 Strongly Encouraged by Monday 14 October &nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>                            <div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Badge collection will be open at Bharat Mandapam Saturday 12 October 09:00-17:00, Sunday 13 October 09:00-17:00 and on Monday, 14 October, from 07:30-23:00. We\u202f<strong><u>strongly encourage you to pick up your badges on Monday<\/u><\/strong>\u202fto avoid any delays or complications on the morning of the opening ceremony. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>                            <div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><u>Badging is closed on Tuesday Morning 15 October and only reopens from 13:30-18:00 on Tuesday afternoon.&nbsp;<\/u><\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>                            <div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u202f<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>                            <div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>2. Strict Security Measures on Tuesday 15 October \u2013 Prime Minister&#8217;s Visit<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>                            <div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Due to heightened security measures for the Prime Minister\u2019s arrival, please note the following:&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>                            <div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">No entry to the venue (Campus Pragati Maidan)\u202fwill be permitted after\u202f08:30\u202fon October 15<sup>th<\/sup>. All roads and access to Pragati Maidan will be closed after this time.&nbsp;<\/mark><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\"><strong>Only badge holders will be allowed access between 7:30 and 8:30 on 15 October.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/mark><\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\"><strong>If you are unable to arrive before 8:30, access to the venue will only be allowed after\u202f13:30, once the opening ceremony has concluded<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/mark><\/li>\n<\/div><\/ul>\n<\/div>                            <div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u202f<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>                            <div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3. Seating and Assembly Hall Requirements<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>                            <div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Once inside the campus,\u202fall delegates must be seated\u202fin the Plenary Assembly Hall at Bharat Mandapam\u202fby\u202f9:00.&nbsp;<\/mark><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Doors to the assembly hall will be locked from 9:00 until 11:00<\/mark><\/strong>, during which time movement will be restricted until the Prime Minister\u2019s arrival for the opening ceremony.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>Please note that\u202f<strong>no personal belongings<\/strong>\u202f(such as bags, briefcases, lighters, power banks, water bottles, cameras, laptops, electronic remote car keys, and other electronic equipment) will be allowed inside the Plenary Assembly Hall during the opening ceremony. A limited number of lockers will be available, so we recommend leaving any personal items at your hotel on this day.&nbsp; Note that mobile phones are allowed.\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/div><\/ul>\n<\/div>                            <div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are truly honoured to have Prime Minister Modi inaugurate this prestigious event, marking a significant milestone for WTSA and ITU in the region.
