Where policy meets technology

Emerging technologies are transforming the global digital economy. The WTPF-21 brings together policy-makers from around the world to discuss how to better harness emerging technologies to accelerate the achievement of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and tackle the world’s most pressing challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic, without leaving anyone behind. Check out the report by the ITU Secretary-General for the Forum, which includes all 5 Draft Opinions to be discussed at the Forum.
Report/Draft Opinions

WTPF-21 will help foster sustainable development and lead to policies that give everyone access to technologies that are safe, attractive and affordable. What is at stake is the ability to build the infrastructure and policy models required to connect the unconnected and drive the development of emerging technologies central to the digital economy.
