ITU logo<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>

\n

1. The ITU logo forms an essential part of the Union\u2019s institutional image and property. As such, it is protected under the provisions of Article 6ter of the Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property.<\/p>\n<\/div>

\n

2. The ITU logo may therefore not be used without the prior written consent of the Secretary-General or his\/her representative duly authorized to that effect. Any written request to use the Union\u2019s logo must be duly substantiated (detailed information regarding the reasons for the request, manner in which it is intended to use the logo including details of the supports (electronic, paper, etc.) to be used, and possible use of other logos alongside that of ITU, as well as the precise contact details of the person making the request, etc.) and sent in a timely manner to branding@itu.int<\/a> or:<\/p>\n<\/div>

3. Without prejudice to a detailed, case-by-case study of each request, authorization to use the Union\u2019s logo WILL NOT BE GRANTED in the following cases:<\/p>\n<\/div>

\n

\u2022 Use in connection with products or commercial services;
\u2022 Use in a manner inconsistent with the purposes and goals of the Union;
\u2022 Use in a manner that is liable, in the Secretary-General\u2019s view, to damage the Union\u2019s image, reputation, neutrality or intergovernmental character and image of the Plenipotentiary Conference;
\u2022 Use for electoral purposes.<\/p>\n<\/div>

4. Where authorization is granted, the logo must be used in accordance with the terms and conditions laid down, and within the limits established, in the letter of authorization. Under no circumstances, however, may the logo or any of its constituent elements (such as format, proportions, graphic design, colours, etc.) be altered, adapted, or modified.<\/p>\n<\/div>

WRC-23 Conference logo<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>

\n

1. Use of the logo created especially for the ITU World Radiocommunication Conference 2023 (the \u201cConference\u201d) is likewise subject to prior written authorization from the Union\u2019s Secretary-General or his representative duly authorized to that effect. Any written request to use the Conference\u2019s logo must be duly substantiated (detailed information regarding the reasons for the request, manner in which it is intended to use the logo including details of the supports (electronic, paper, etc.) to be used, and possible use of other logos alongside that of ITU, as well as the precise contact details of the person making the request, etc.) and sent in a timely manner to branding@itu.int<\/a> or:<\/p>\n<\/div>

Inasmuch as the ITU logo forms an integral part of the Conference logo, the cases listed in \u00a7 3 above in which requests for authorization will not be granted also apply to the Conference logo.<\/p>\n<\/div>

2. Subject to the foregoing, authorization will, in principle, be granted where the Secretary-General considers that the usage is conducive to achievement of the Conference\u2019s mandate or seeks to promote its work.<\/p>\n<\/div>

\n

ITU Logo and statutory conference Logo Request Form<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>

The logo is our unique corporate signature and symbolizes ITU\u2019s longstanding reputation as the UN\u2019s specialized agency for ICTs.<\/p>\n<\/div>
