The ITU World Information Society Award is presented to Mr Abdoulaye Wade, President of Senegal (centre) and Professor Muhammad Yunus, Managing Director of Grameen Bank, Bangladesh (right) by ITU Secretary-General Mr Yoshio Utsumi at a ceremony in Geneva on 17 May 2006 on the observance of the first World Information Society Day.
