Title: Liaison to ITU-T SG16 on MPEG-4 over H.32x Terminals

Thank you for supporting our proposal to include MPEG-4 Systems and Audio

transport functionality into H.324, and for determining its related

annexes. As mentioned, both items are related to MPEG-4 version 2

activities that are scheduled to be finalised in December 1999.



Pursuant to completion, we would expect close collaboration to ensure

consistent results.



Since we are working on delivery of MPEG-4 Systems over IP, we should

anticipate an extension of our collaboration regarding H.323 terminals. As

such we will keep you appropriately informed about our status.



We are looking forward to continuing the co-operation of our joint efforts

for developing multimedia standards.
